Effective Date: September 10, 2026

RecoverFree™ workshops are designed to create meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, connection, and personal growth. These policies and guidelines are intended to support a respectful and engaging learning environment for everyone who participates.

By registering for a RecoverFree™ workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the following Workshop Policies & Participant Guidelines.

  1. Educational Scope

RecoverFree™ workshops are provided for educational purposes only. They are not therapy, psychotherapy, medical care, mental health treatment, substance use treatment, or a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other healthcare services.

Participation in a RecoverFree™ workshop does not establish a therapist-client, healthcare provider-patient, or other clinical relationship with RecoverFree™, Rose Heart, or any workshop facilitator.

Participants are responsible for determining whether the workshop and its practices are appropriate for them and for seeking professional care when needed.

  1. Participation & Personal Responsibility

RecoverFree™ workshops may include educational material, reflective inquiry, discussion, mindfulness or meditation, breathwork, HeartMath techniques when applicable, and other experiential practices.

You are encouraged to participate in ways that feel appropriate for you. You are responsible for your own choices, participation, and well-being throughout the workshop and may choose not to participate in any particular exercise or discussion.

  1. Sobriety Requirement

To support the learning environment and the experience of all participants, you must be abstinent from alcohol, recreational drugs, and other mind-altering substances for at least 48 hours before participating in a live RecoverFree™ workshop.

If RecoverFree™ reasonably believes that a participant is impaired or has not met this requirement, the participant may be asked to leave the live workshop. Removal for this reason does not qualify for a refund, credit, or transfer. The participant will still receive access to the workshop recording in accordance with these policies.

  1. Respectful Participation

RecoverFree™ workshops are intended to support thoughtful exploration, respectful communication, and meaningful connection.

Participants are expected to respect differing experiences, perspectives, backgrounds, and boundaries; allow others the opportunity to speak; and refrain from harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, persistent disruption, or conduct that interferes with the experience of the group.

RecoverFree™ reserves the right to remove a participant whose behavior disrupts the workshop or compromises the experience or well-being of others. Removal for violation of these guidelines does not qualify for a refund, credit, or transfer.

  1. Confidentiality & Privacy

RecoverFree™ asks participants to respect the privacy of others and to refrain from sharing another participant’s personal experiences or information outside the workshop.

Please be aware that RecoverFree™ workshops are recorded, and portions of the recording may be used as described in the Workshop Recording and Recording Use & Participant Authorization sections below.

You have choices about how you participate in the recorded workshop. If you do not want your image recorded, you may keep your camera turned off. If you do not want your voice recorded, you may participate without speaking and use the Zoom chat feature to submit questions or comments when that option is available.

If you prefer not to be recorded at all, you are welcome to experience the workshop as an observer with your camera and microphone turned off and without submitting questions or comments.

If you choose to participate with your camera or microphone enabled, your image, voice, and contributions may be captured in the workshop recording.

While RecoverFree™ asks all participants to respect the privacy of others, RecoverFree™ cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.

  1. Workshop Recording

RecoverFree™ workshops are recorded.

Recordings may include the workshop facilitator, educational content, presentations, discussions, participant questions and comments, and, when a participant’s camera or microphone is enabled, the participant’s image and voice.

By registering for and participating in a RecoverFree™ workshop, you acknowledge that the workshop will be recorded.

  1. Recording Use & Participant Authorization

Workshop recordings may be edited, reproduced, published, distributed, displayed, used in future educational materials, and made available or sold commercially by RecoverFree™.

By registering for and participating in a workshop, you authorize RecoverFree™ to record and use your image, voice, comments, questions, and other contributions that are captured during the workshop for these purposes.

If you do not want your image recorded, you may participate with your camera turned off. If you prefer not to have your voice recorded, you may participate without speaking and may submit questions or comments through the Zoom chat when that option is available.

If you choose to speak while your microphone is enabled, your voice and contributions may become part of the workshop recording and may be included in subsequent uses of that recording.

Participants may not independently record, photograph, screenshot, livestream, transcribe, reproduce, or otherwise capture or distribute the workshop or another participant’s contributions without prior written permission from RecoverFree™.

  1. Zoom & Online Participation

Online workshops are currently conducted through Zoom unless otherwise stated.

Participants are responsible for having an appropriate device, internet connection, and access to Zoom. Workshop access information is provided solely to registered participants and may not be shared with another person.

Participants are encouraged to join from a reasonably private environment and may choose whether to have their camera enabled unless otherwise stated for a particular workshop activity.

  1. Intellectual Property

RecoverFree™ workshop materials, including original presentations, written materials, exercises, graphics, recordings, and other original content, are protected intellectual property and are provided for the registered participant’s personal use only.

Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, published, taught, sold, posted online, or otherwise used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from RecoverFree™ or the applicable rights holder.

Certain workshops may incorporate materials, techniques, trademarks, or intellectual property owned by third parties. Those materials remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to any additional terms or restrictions established by those rights holders.

  1. Registration, Payment & Transfers

Workshop registration is for the individual registered participant only.

Registrations may not be transferred to another person.

All sales are final. Workshop purchases are nonrefundable and are not eligible for credits or transfers except when RecoverFree™ cancels a workshop as described below.

  1. Missed or Partial Attendance

Participants are responsible for attending the live workshop at the scheduled dates and times.

Missing all or part of a live workshop, arriving late, leaving early, or being unable to attend does not qualify for a refund, credit, transfer, or prorated reimbursement.

Because RecoverFree™ workshops are recorded, registered participants will receive access to the complete workshop recording following the live workshop.

  1. Workshop Recording Access

Registration includes access to the complete workshop recording following the live workshop.

The recording will remain available to registered participants for six months from the date recording access is provided.

RecoverFree™ may determine or change the platform, hosting provider, delivery method, or technology used to provide recording access during that period.

Recording access is for the registered participant’s personal use only. Recording links, login information, passwords, or other access credentials may not be shared with another person.

  1. Cancellation by RecoverFree™

If RecoverFree™ cancels a workshop and does not provide the workshop, registered participants will receive a full refund of the workshop registration fee.

If a workshop must be rescheduled, interrupted, or moved to another reasonable date or format, RecoverFree™ will provide registered participants with updated information and access to the rescheduled workshop and/or its recording. A change in a participant’s ability to attend the live workshop does not create eligibility for a refund when the workshop and recording are provided.

  1. Accessibility

RecoverFree™ welcomes participants with accessibility needs. If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate in a workshop, please contact RecoverFree™ in advance so that available accommodations can be discussed.

  1. Emergencies & Crisis Support

RecoverFree™ workshops are not emergency or crisis services.

If you are experiencing an immediate emergency, call 911. If you are experiencing a mental health, suicide, or substance use crisis in the United States, you may call or text 988. Information about substance use and mental health treatment resources is also available through SAMHSA.

  1. Agreement to Workshop Policies & Participant Guidelines

By completing workshop registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Workshop Policies & Participant Guidelines, including the recording and participant authorization provisions.
